What is the difference between an Economy Ticket and a Freedom ticket in Restricted 2nd Class on the TGV?

I am booking a trip on the TGV Eurorail from Nice to Paris, and am wondering what the difference is between an Economy Restricted 2nd Class Ticket and a Freedom Flexible 2nd Class Ticket. What is the difference between an Economy Ticket and a Freedom ticket in Restricted 2nd Class on the TGV?
Economy Restricted is a bit cheaper but you pick your dates and times up front. Freedom Flexible isn't worth the extra money in my opinion. They still want you to reserve your seat and you're not guaranteed a seat on a full train.. It's just that you won't have to pay a fee to change your reservation. I'd just get whichever is cheaper, since the seats,

comfort, and speed are the same. What is the difference between an Economy Ticket and a Freedom ticket in Restricted 2nd Class on the TGV?
