Well, you don't write anything about your interests actually...
Switzerland itself is worth a 2-weeks' trip because there's so much you can do and see. How about your budget? Switzerland is the most expensive place around...
Perhaps you can make a tour Bern-Luzern-St.Gallen-Z眉rich by railway and visit the towns along the line? Plus make some extra trips to the mountains, of course!
And, do something against your knee pain and enjoy the unique one-time treatment called Atlasprofilax in Switzerland or Germany! It costs approx. 220 dollars and is really worth the stop - the effects on the self-healing power of your body and mind are simply amazing (own experience)
France sucks.I'm planning to go to Europe in 2 weeks. Anything I should know?
Don't forget your passport! And have fun!
YOU SHOULD GO TO THE WORLD CUP AND SEE ATLEAST ONE GAME

Yeaaaaaaaa right! That's cool. I'm going to Paris and London myself. You're probably going to the World Cup in Germany right? Or at least you'll be around there for the hype. Anyway, there's tons of things to know for the trip but it all depends on what you want to do. So I'll write the basics....
1.) Book Flight
2.) Look into hotel rates
3.) Passport
4.) Medical insurance
5.) Exchange currency
6.) Get a reliable creditcard usually mastercard or visa
7.) Check out the sites you want to visit
8.) Look into eurorail rates and also passes for daily excursions
9.) Look into renting cars, cellular phones or what not if you think you need one but in this case you're travelling by rail.
10.) Find out the tax rates in countries or the costs will kill you
11.) Wherever you are, make sure you're near a metro station which will be so much easier for you when planning your day.
12.) Try to learn simple key phrases for the countries you'll be in. They'll appreciate the effort when you're trying to get around.
13.) Get a money bag or something, a lot of pick-pocketers, especially in high tourist areas...so don't carry your wallet in your back pocket like most guys do.
14.) Since you'll be travelling on the rail a lot, perhaps bring a book, ipod, or something to pass the time during the ride unless your friends are up to talking the whole way hehehe.
15.) No matter how much you plan, leave room for spontaneity.... after all trips are meant to be fun and I'm sure you'll have tons!!
Take Care and Bon Voyage!!!!!!!
Make sure you visit Amsterdam!
