You don't have a choice of which one to use - you qualify for one or the other. Interrail is for European residents. Eurail (Eurorail) is for others. Rather a pass is worth the money or it's better to buy individual tickets depends on the specifics of your trip. You can only do Eurail if you are from outside of Europe. Otherwise it's Interrail.
And please learn the difference between 'threw' and 'through'.
