if i buy an eurorail ticket can i travel from germany-France- Italy without any additional cost??Eurorail ticket?
Eurail passes are great. For three countries, you can get 5 days of travel for around $400. Because you're going to those three countries, I would definitely recommend it. You're going to save yourself a lot of money. They're good on all trains: regional, express, and night trains. The only thing you'd ever have to pay extra for would be a reservation (normally only for popular routes on the express trains and night trains).
There are some trains, such as Thalys, which are not entirely covered by the pass. You do get a nice discount, but they can still be expensive. Check the link below for all of the details.
you have to identify on your eurail pass which and how many countries it covers. a pass that covers 3 countries doesn't cos tthe same as that that covers 5, etc.
usually, there is an assitional Reservation Fee that you have to pay on the station - coz otherwise, a seat is not guaranteed for you. And there are some trains where if you don't have a reservation, you're kicked out of the train (happened to me in Spain).
Do also note that this ticket does not cover sleeper trains - and to ride them you'd have to pay extra.Eurorail ticket?
Some trains have additional supplement fees added to the normal ticket price, these are usually the fast trains.
You need to read the fine print very carefully to find out for which trains you'll need to pay a supplement. Supplements are only a few EUR per ride, but it adds up.

You can buy the '3 countries' Eurail Select Pass. If you are under 25 years of age, then you save money by buying the Youth Pass.
The pass is available to be used for either 5, 6, 8 or 10 days within 2 months. You just need to work out how many days of travel you wish to buy.
But, if you are only travelling a short distance from city to city in one whole day, then sometimes it's actually cheaper to buy a point to point ticket.
So, you need to work out exactly where you are going and how much it normally costs to go from one place to the next...to see if it's worth using your Eurail Pass.
