On the Eurorail timetable, I can't find any night trains from Amsterdam to Berlin. I can't believe that there aren't any night trains on that route.
Is that true?
If there are night trains for that route, how can I book them with my Eurorail pass?Night trains from Amsterdam to Berlin?
You can book Night trains on your Eurail pass through this site, I am told: http://www.eurail.com/eurail-reservation鈥?/a>
Other reservation pages are: http://www.eurail.com/eurail-reservation鈥?/a> and http://www.eurail.com/eurail-reservation鈥?/a>
For train times and schedules I prefer this site, which will also show whether you need a reservation or not:
http://www.bahn.de/international/view/en鈥?/a>
And that site does also only find the one train Jean-Michel had already found for you, although I would get of in Berlin Hauptbahnhoff, at 4:21 AM, not a nice time to arrive after an overnight travel.
Maybe you can better choose a day train, those typically take between 6 and 6and a half hours. One of the other sites mentioned above can help you to book reservations for those trains, if wanted.
You can travel on that train with your Eurail pass, but you will have to make a reservation and (with that) pay a surcharge. The websites I mentioned should help you with that. You can also make reservations in railway stations in Europe, but the train might be full by then.
