How long is a eurorail pass?

I am looking into buying eurorail pass. It is the 2 month pass. It says it's good for 2 months but what does that actually mean? does that mean it just a standard 60 days or does it take the 2 months your there and calculate it w/ what month has what days? I guess im confused and want clarification on exactly how many days are in "2 months" because in real terms it depends on the months. But im guessing they have rules that take that out of the question but i can't find that anywhereHow long is a eurorail pass?
When you buy the 2 month global pass you get 2 months, that is if you start it on 15 January it is valid to/including 14 March. That is less than 60 days. If you happen to include 31 December and 31 January, you will get more than 60 days. In most cases you will get 61 days.

But most people will spend less if they do not buy a global pass, you will need to be on the train almost more than off it, to get your moneys worth out of it. Specially when you compare it with early booked long distance train tickets.

3 or 4 country passes are mostly the best option, in my opinion. Take your time to see those fabulous cities, 4 days in Paris, at least 3 days in Rome and so on, not rushing around and just seeing the insides of the trains.

More information can be found on the site of the man in seat sixty-one: http://www.seat61.com/Railpass.htm and of course, on the site of the Eurail itself.
