I need to plan everything im bit confused, i want to go to milan watch inter play then sort of travel see alot plus out of citys like beaches etc.
I was thinkin jus buses would be cheapest way to get around unless im going far like milan to prague for instance, how should i go about all the planning, and i want to budget as much as i can so i can travel more and see more.
and whats the most helpful websites and stuff,
what you do if u travelled beforeI want to travel around europe, but whats cheaper,to eurorail it or cheap flight from city to city?
first you need to decide exactly where you want to go. if you're just going to be doing big cities then flying might work out for you. if you're going to some smaller towns too you might need to buy train tickets to get there. then you'll need to decide if flying + train tickets is cheaper or more expensive than just buying a eurail pass.
europe has some great low-cost airlines...ryanair, easyjet, germanwings (and check out skyscanner.net too)...just make sure you read the fine print and pay attention when you're booking the flights...they like to tack on fees at the very end, especially ryanair. they'll charge you for trip insurance (which you probably don't need), checked baggage, for checking in at the airport (the only way you can check in online is if you have an EU ID card) and also a credit card fee. make sure you keep your carry-on bag under 10 kilos (22 pounds) or they'll get you on that too. but, even with these annoyances they're still worth it because they're really really cheap. keep in mind too that most of these low-cost airlines fly in CLOSE to the city that you want, not into the main big airport. most of the airports are about 45 minutes or so by bus from the city and you'll have to keep the cost of the bus in mind as well when you're figuring out your total trip cost.
good luck and have a great trip!
In my own organisation of a trip to europe, I have found that it is much cheaper and faster or at least a similar time to fly from place to place.
I used my local travel agent to get some ideas.
also traveleurope.com, edreams.com, raileurope.com.
if you want to get an idea of the length and time it would take to drive, you can use google maps and do a search ie "from: milan to: rome" or whatever.
For a bus you should then add a bit of extra time because it will take longer in a bigger vehicle.
Google searches are great - thats how i organised pretty much my entire trip.

I thought the rail was pricey. I used BusAbout to go everywhere (check their website for info). Also Easyjet and RyanAir for cheap flights. They were wonderful!
