Can a tip be withheld when the wait staff and manager are rude?

My daughter is taking us to a Brazilian Steakhouse for Father's Day. We are Vegetarians but the men are big meat eaters. I've read reviews for the place she is taking us, and it says "NOT a place for Vegetarians" and that others have been treated VERY rudely, due to the fact they are not making the full $45. Per person. I'm very concerned that it could get very UGLY! LOL Don't want our day to be ruined! Can a tip be withheld when the wait staff and manager are rude?
The Brazilian Steakhouse that I have been to has an enormous salad bar and there is plenty to eat if you just have that. I saw no one being rude to persons that were just having the "salad bar"
I think if you are treated in a rude manner you should ask to talk with the manager. Discuss the problem with the manager, if you are treated rudely you could ask to change to another table but this will probably not be necessary.
I think the price is reduced if you just have the salad bar.
Anticipate that you will have a good time and that you will be treated in a nice manner, if you need to talk to the manager.

I guess this does not answer the actual question.
TIP but reduce the TIP if you do encounter problems but give management an opportunity to correct any problems.

I am glad you had a good meal and that there were no problems.
Yes, tips are a voluntarily recompense for good service, so tf they are rude to you you are within your rights to withhold it. They should also be able to offer a vegetarian option, and if they say that it is still $45.00 per head. then they are within their rights to charge you.

They can recommend it is not a food for Vegetarians, so it is within their rights not to have to provide a non-vegetarian option.

Common sense would make me ring first to see what they would say for the vegetarians in your party and if they say they don't cater for them, then I suggest you go elsewhere. If you know of what might result in a confrontation, you are going to be in the wrong.

You are at their place, you go by their rules.

Remember they do not 'have to' serve you.Can a tip be withheld when the wait staff and manager are rude?
If they make you and your guests uneasy or uncomfortable.Well I say heck yea don't tip,you should always tip about 15% of the total check, give or take 5% if things were satisfactory,If the staff is short handed,or extremely busy, you need to overlook these things and think about if it was you waiting those tables, but being short or rude,FORGET IT..just mind your business, grin and bare it,and leave no tip, evidently they are in the wrong job field.
ALWAYS TIP (but tip less if bad/rude service)

A tip of $0.14 tells the waiter that you intended to tip and intentionally left a bad one (hinting at bad servce). A tip of $0.00 means that you may just not ever tip or forgot or something.

Just leave a pittance.
Rather than withholding the tip, just give them a few quarters, or leave only a dollar bill, or the best way of all...tell your waitperson yourself and perhaps they may have a way to resolve it in your favor.
In my opinion, a tip is what you give a waiter as a gift for their good service. If you were treated badly by them, don't reward them by leaving them money
Then don't go there to eat! It's a MEAT lovers Restaurant !!!

unless YOU enjoy eating $ 45.00 salads, breads %26amp; Glass of H2O !!!

拢45 sounds a lot for a meal with or without meat. You should go somewhere cheaper that does vegetarian food.
