Im looking at traveling from Paris to Lisbon on an overnight train and wondering what kind of fees Im looking at. I have the 2 month EuroRail pass, but I cant find anywhere how much the reservation fees are for the cheapest sleeper I can get. I dont really care about changes just price. Anyone have any clue how much it's going to set me back? Thanks for the help.EuroRail pass Night Train Help?
I included the link to the Belgian rail where, curiously enough, you can also find the hours and connections of the train from Paris to Lissabon (Lisbon - Lisboa). First problem I encounter is that apparently there are a lot of train stations in Lisbon so you need to find out which one you need...
Choose the right one in the drop box, change the date and you'll see which trains there are and for which ones you have to pay extra. Apparently it's possible to take "normal" trains without to pay extra but then you'll have to change trains...
Not sure how the EuroRail works but I think you can take any train provided that it isn't a train with obligatory reservation like Thalys, Eurostar, etc. Ask further information in Paris station just to be on the save side.
Have a nice trip!
