How long to get from Barcelona to Rome with Eurorail passes?

Trying to figure out the best way to get from Barcelona to Rome for when I'll be there traveling in a few weeks. I have a eurorail pass already, but I'm wondering how long the trip would be by train. If it is too long, is a flight the next best bet? Looking for any advice possible. Thanks in advance for the help. How long to get from Barcelona to Rome with Eurorail passes?
You could take the Eurocity sleeper train from Barcelona to Milan. This leaves Barcelona Estacion de Franca just before 8pm and arrives in Milan around 10am. Then you need to get another train to Rome, and that will take a further 3 hours. Don't attempt to do Barcelona to Milan on day trains, there are just too many changes, and it will take you twice as long!

Reservations are mandatory on these trains, and I really suggest you book in advance, either through a travel agent or the company you bought the Eurail Pass from. There will be an administration fee plus couchette and seat reservation fees, but at least it will be organised.

If you don't have this much time to spare, just fly.
Flight would be quicker, but In the last three years I've gone from Barcelona to Rome and back on the ferry. The crossing takes 20 hours and it is a huge ferry.I loved the journey, just like a short cruise. The ferry company is Grimaldi Ferries. How long to get from Barcelona to Rome with Eurorail passes?
Depends which train you take.

The pass you have doesn't determine how fast the train goes.

Check the Renfe site.
