But I love trains because you can see the country better.I am goint to Hungary and Poland from Germany. What is the best way to get there, Eurorail?
Eurail or the bus is the best and the most economical. Flights are very expensive in Europe. Take the overnight train and save a hotel night. There is usually food available or you can take your own. Sometimes you can rent a couchette to sleep but these fill up fast.
From Germany, go via Muchen to Wien, in fact go from anywhere via Wien then straight on to Budapest. Do not get Budapest mixed up with Bucharest.
To Poland go via Hannover preferably via Berlin and have a look at it while you are there!I am goint to Hungary and Poland from Germany. What is the best way to get there, Eurorail?
It's actually EUrail, not Eurorail.
Are you an EU citizen? Because Interail is cheaper, but it's only available to EU residents.
