Bring lots of pairs of socks and some foot powder too!
Sometimes the best thing in the day is to be able to put on a fresh pair of socks.
Oh yeah and deodorant. Plenty expensive and hard to find there.
Especially the further south you go.
Put together a small emergency kit containing bandages,
alcohol prep pads, tweezers, scissors (or better yet a Swiss Army knife that has these things), a needle and thread. etc.
and ibuprofen and something for 'the runs'.

http://www.ricksteves.com/plan/plan_menu鈥?/a>What types of things should you bring when you are doing the eurorail trip?
? Do you mean backpacking or just a point a to b trip on the train?
Either way trains are often very new or old depending on your destination but staples that are often included in the states are not present in europe. So...toiletries, blankets, pillows, earplugs (!!!!) food, snacks, water, basically anythign you think that would be available or included...bring! lol except the seat of course...
