I check with our local Eurorail office but there is no train from Rome to Casia. It's Rome to Assisi.?

What is the Italian name for Casia? I wish to visit the St. Rita of Casia Shrine. But per my agent no train Rome to Casia.I check with our local Eurorail office but there is no train from Rome to Casia. It's Rome to Assisi.?

It's in Cascia, which doesn't have atrain station, but it looks like the closest station would be Spoleto. There are regular trains to Spoleto from Roma Termini that take from 1 hour and 9 minutes to 1 1/2 hours.

Tomorrow's schedule shows trains at

6:08, 7:08, 7:43, 8:22, 9:45, 11:43, 12:20, 13:04, 13:49, etc.



I feel sure there's a bus, but if not definitely a taxi from Spoleto to the Basilica.

And for buses, try to google "Buses from Spoleto to Cascia"



PS: Assisi is also not too far from Cascia, so you could go from there if they have more bus connections. Google "Buses from Assisi to Cascia" or "transportation from .... to....."
