If you take the Eurorail to ajoining countries can you go back to your starting country on same pass?

My husband and I want to go to Europe next summer we have been looking into the train systems. The Eurorail Select Pass Saver look like the best option for want we want to do. Right now we are thinking of flying from Boston to Dublin and taking the train from Ireland-France-Germany-Italy. Can we use the same pass to take the train back to Ireland? We probably would use the 10 day pass.If you take the Eurorail to ajoining countries can you go back to your starting country on same pass?
First, small problem....no trains from Ireland to France. Ferry maybe (look at a map the location of the two countries)

Cannot use EuroRail in England, (must use BritRail Pass).

The EuroRail pass is good for the time you purchased it (you say 10 days) you can go anywhere it is valid (super saver is limited and you chose the countries you want to go. Doesn't matter coming back from your departure point. It is a PASS, so you can use the railroad system at one price.

Cannot purchase it in Europe!!! For more details go to a travel agency. Don't buy it on line. No discount anyway by getting it on line.
