Are the eurorail night trains a better option than staying in a hotel?

As we have the 15 days in two month pass starting from Nantes to Barcelona then to Italy Milan and Rome Bern etc and ending up in Vienna. The trip shall take us four weeksAre the eurorail night trains a better option than staying in a hotel?
When my wife and I spent our honeymoon in Europe starting in PARIS where she had several friends, we definitely got maximum use of our Eurorail %26amp; Rental Car combination by catching the Eurorail sleeper train on the long journeys like from PARIS to MADRID. Then we drove in a rental car from MADRID to BARCELONA, and next we caught the Eurorail sleeper to ROME then drove a rental car to FLORENCE. We dropped the car off at the border in Italy and paid out of our pocket to catch a train to NICE, FRANCE and enjoyed ourselves on the FRENCH RIVERA. Then caught a Eurorail sleeper back to PARIS. Basically we saved on 3 nights of expensive hotel accomodations and got maximum use of our Eurorail pass combination and enjoyed every bit of it.

Our oldest son now lives in LONDON UK and my wife was thinking about taking a family vacation with our other 2 kids to see him and her friends in PARIS this summer, but I told her now might not be the best time simply bec the US DOLLAR has loss so much conversion value the past few years that a European vacation for 4 might be super expensive...so we're thinking about NIAGARA FALLS and CANADA.

Enjoy Yourselves and Have a Wonderful Vacation :%26lt;)
When you book your sleeper, make sure you get into a quad and not a six bed compartment. Trust me!Are the eurorail night trains a better option than staying in a hotel?
definitely cheaper as you will be combining overnight accommodation with travel.
