I'm visiting in June to 3 countries with my wife (Spain, Benelux and France)Where is the best place (price) to buy a Eurorail Pass? Or please suggest best way to take trains in Europe?
I purchased mine on eurail. It was the youth 15 days in 2 months global pass.
Eurotrip.com has a deal where they give you 10 bucks off if you have signed up to be a member on the site so looking into that I could have gotten it for 16$ cheaper on their site, I don't know for sure if they charge shipping, they didn't seem to, but I didn't want to go all the way to the end to find out since I already have a pass.
Ricksteves.com also offers 20% off any shopping you do in his store if you purchase the rail pass with him. They do charge some 15$ for shipping though, and I didn't really want to buy anything from them, but it could be a good deal for some.
Those are all the ones I know about.Where is the best place (price) to buy a Eurorail Pass? Or please suggest best way to take trains in Europe?
I bought it online, Eurorail.com. Worked well for me. The website has a lot of details about what is included among different levels of the pass, and also has links to some online ticket-reservation sites, so you can figure out how much it would cost if you just bought each trip separately.
