I will be traveling in the holidays of Christmas and going to Prague to Vienna, Innsbrook, Zell Am See, Munich and Frankfurt. What online euro train service does the best job? I am torn between Rail Europe, Eurorail and Railpass.?
Well, I like using Eurorail directly for Eurorail passes. Railpass and Rail Europe are just a resellers for Eurorail and others (Britrail, etc), so for variety they are good.
I prefer RailEurope over Railpass. The seem more reliable and professional.
eurorail
the ony one that seems familiar to me;)What online euro train service does the best job? I am torn between Rail Europe, Eurorail and Railpass.?
Since you are not travelling a huge distance, you might consider purchasing single journeys rather than buying a rail pass.
If you make use of special offers, your journey may turn out a lot cheaper. Rail Europe can sometimes be a rip off, because they fail to mention special offers and promotions by Germal Rail (often only advertised in German) to international passengers.
These GermanRail special offers are worth looking at
*SparNight (must be booked in advance)
*Schoenes-Wochenende ticket (can be purchased on day of travel; only allowed on slow trains; 鈧?0 for unlimited travel on German Rail network for a day)
