Is there wifi internet access on the eurail/eurorail?

There is not one company running trains in Europe called Eurail or Eurorail. You can buy a Eurail pass but the trains you will use are the normal trains that are run by the local (often national) rail companies.

As Europe is rather diverse, many countries accept the Eurail pass, you will have to look up or ask about many national, sometimes local, companies.

As far as I know, most of them will not have wifi internet access on the trains, some have it on the stations, but not often for free.

The systems of payment can differ a lot within countries, even more between countries.

There might be trains in Europe with free wifi, but I have never met them.Is there wifi internet access on the eurail/eurorail?
it depends which train you are on, but most do not have it.
