Whoever can write the best poem gets 10 points?

i have to do a poem on the st louis arch whoever can write the best one gets 10 pointsWhoever can write the best poem gets 10 points?
A white arch

next to a filthy river

in a crime-ridden town.

Nobody cares.
There once was an arch of St. Louis

If we climbed it we could lose us

It's rather tall,

Hanging over a mall

This is the arch of St. Louis.

:D

eh? eh??Whoever can write the best poem gets 10 points?
Does it really matter...

That darkness shudders cold in the night.

That rivers freeze over, tempting winter's subtle depression.

Does it really matter?
Stories for Girls

Submission:

Indigo bleeds out

Arrows cut flesh like lions

As rain escapes wounds.

Death sharpens the blow

The midnight clouds linger low

who munch on marrow.

Teepee leans over

Rawhide fades away in cut

as the scissors scrape.
I can write one about the St. Louis airport.

Yellow empty

bellied bowl.

Starbuck's generic

coffee ground

filled cup - my ashtray.

Wait ...

wait ...

wait ...

Do NOT fall asleep.

Wait ...

Now boarding flight 240.

God, I hate that place.
bad beer

crooked baseball

filthy streets

only half way to New Orleans

there's a reason for the arch

where else can you jump from
The St. Louis Arch stands tall and strong

Watching over all that is right

Turning a blind eye against what is wrong

The arch stood there since my father's birth

Watched my aunt increase her girth

Whenever you get to St. Louis folks

Stare at the Arch...

Cause what else are you gonna do with it, huh?
I once met a guy in St. Louie.....

OOPS!!! You need help with your homework, huh? Good luck! ;-)
When did it

get a coat

of white.

It was silver

the day

I got a cramp

inside the

tiny

elevator

on the way

to the

top.
At a distance i saw the arch

So high in the sky

That hot summer day.

Wishing to go up

to the highest peak

But through the truck

I could only speak.

Seen those arches

many of times

down on the river.
