Snoqualmie Falls in September - yes or no?

We have just one week to travel through Washington. Trip will be like this: Seattle, Olympic National Park, Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens and the coast. Should we go to Snoqualmie Falls or is it just touristy (and has not much water in September?) What else should see in WA?Snoqualmie Falls in September - yes or no?
Given the close proximity to I-90, about a 20 minute detour, if you are crossing to Eastern Washington via that route the falls are worth a few minutes. It is a little touristy, but there is only a viewpoint, not much else.

But the falls are not enroute to your other planed destinations, When you go to Mt. Rainier, there are several large waterfalls, including Narada Falls beside the road to Paradise, the most popular destination in the park. As you note, September is the end of the dry season, and in some years most of the falls in the Cascades are small..

Your itinerary is ambitious for only a week, especially as the destinations are fairly far apart. To get to Olympic National Park from Seattle you must cross on a ferry and then use a toll bridge, or else drive a long way south. Not to be missed is the view from Hurricane Ridge overlooking Port Angeles, the most popular destination in the park. You could then do a loop, see the coastal strip of the park and cut east at Aberdeen to Olympia and south to St. Helens, north again to Mt. Rainier and back to Seattle. It is quite a lot of driving, but mostly the roads are good anf fairly uncrowded in September. There are some other spectacular sights in the state, notably the North Cascades, but that would add a great deal more driving, so your choice is probably about all you can do in a week.Snoqualmie Falls in September - yes or no?
The Falls are pretty, but you're right...in September there won't be much water falling. You can hike down to the bottom (well, not really "hike", more like "walk") and swim in the river and that's fun. I wouldn't go way out of your way but if you feel like making the detour you should.

You don't say if you're going to be on the north coast or south coast, but if you're up north definitely do the walk from Lake Ozette to the beach...it's a beautiful boardwalk through the rainforest and the beach is really cool.
