Parabola project please help?

I have to build something that makes a parabola shape. the example was a catapult because of the rising and falling motion of the object or the St Louis Arch. I also thought of making 2 porabolas into an icthys. Please help me with an idea of something to build that either is a porabola or somehow forms a parabola. We're trying to be creative so that nobody can have our same ideaParabola project please help?
First , note that the St Louis Arch is not a parabola. Its shape is called a cantenary. This curve is very similar to a parabolic curve but is not one.

What to build? I guess most people will build something whose actual physical shape is a parabola. How about trying something different. Read on ...

A parabola is the shape of a quadratic curve and an example is the stopping distance s of a car under constant deceleration a and initial velocity u given by:

s = u^(2)/2a

The curve of s vs u(2)/2a is halfa parabola but that's OK. This is very important because it shows that doubling your speed quadruples your stopping distance.

So you could have something like a couple of model cars travelling at say 20 mph and 40 mph and a coupler of pedestrians and show they are knocked down by the faster car. In the background you could plot the two (half) parabolic curves to show their difference in braking distances. You could call it all 'Parabolas and why cars must travel at 20mph in a school zone.'
