Have you been to st.Louis arch?

Yes many times. We always take out of town visitors up to see the awesome view from the top.Have you been to st.Louis arch?
yes, 603ft high
Yes. I was nervous but it was worth it. I went after September 11th and I was so afraid but I realized if I was afraid of what could happen up there, then I would be spending my life in fear down here on the ground--lol. I would definitely go up the arch again. It is amazing what you can see from the top!!~~~~Have you been to st.Louis arch?
yes i have a couple of times

but not for a long time though
Yes. I've been to the museum part several times but I only got to ride to the top once.
Yes, I have. I've been there several times. I live about 25-30 minutes away from it.
yes and everytime someone comes here to visit I have to take the pod to the top again lol
Yupppp.

I've been there well over 10 times.

But I live around St. Louis [not in the city] so that might explain it!
no,bu i am going to st louis in april on vacation. hope to get a ticket to the baseball game
I remember when the arch was being built. I lived in the Peabody Projects at that time and our apartment faced the downtown area. I remember when it finally got tall enough to where we could see it from our front window. It stood there for for what seemed the longest time with both sides of the arch reaching for the sky before the middle parts were finally joined together. My father in law, Clayton Farrow, was one of the iron workers who helped set up the iron. Years later my friend and I took our teenage kids to visit. At the top you can feel the arch sway but it wasn't spooky. We could see where we grew up and the viewing of the distance was spectacular. I took picures of the kids and surrounding people looking out the windows up there and when I got my pictures developed, it turned out that all I got was abunch of peoples behinds. I had to laugh at that. We went down ito the museum and had a ball. There were a bunch of things from olden days and one in particular I remember was a washboard with a wash tub and scrub brushes. We acted like we were people from the olden days and got behing the washboard and pretended to be doing laundry while the kids took the scrub brushes and pretended to scrub the floor. We took pictures while we took turns with the washboard and scrub brushes. Of course we didn't know we weren't supposed to be doing that. It wasn't chained off or blocked in anyway. When some one who worked there scolded us for doing this we realized we had made ourselves look like fools. Each time I look at those pictures I have to laugh because it really was fun even if we got in trouble for it.
no i havent but i heard it is sooooo cool!!! ive gone up in the sears tower but i dont think i could do the arch!
Yes, went up in the "pods" and all...........
I live in St. Louis and go to the arch about once a month!
yep and it is awesome. There is a museum underground that is pretty neat. The best part was going to the top. It sways back and forth. The ride up is a little freaky. You ride in a very small pod with 4 seats (i think) It is very crowded, i would not recommned it to someone who is closterphopic.
Yupp...its cool, only on the elevator i got stuck with a family of especially large people and it got very clastrophobic very fast
Yep. It's pretty cool if you're not claustrophobic.
I lived there my whole life and have only been up twice.
Yep, a few years ago. It's pretty cool!
No, but my wife has.
