This Brazilian steakhouse no longer exists, but they used to bring these plantains (I think they were fried) to the table with your meal and they were AMAZING. Does anyone know a) what they are called and b) how to make them? Thanks!Recipe for the plantains served at Sal y Carvao?
I don't know anything about your restaurant your talking about.
Take ripe plantains, peel and slice, some people mash them I don't, use a little oil in a skillet and fry them till golden brown on each side, remove and drain on paper towels, you can salt them or drizzle them with honey
